Fairview has recently joined several social media and social networking communities. As our communities' communications habits evolve, we're keeping pace to make sure we're there to participate and respond to concerns and suggestions.

Sign up and follow us on Twitter. Twitter is a microblogging website; people use it to broadcast short (less than 140 character) updates called tweets about what's going on, at the moment. We're using Twitter to communicate about many different noteworthy developments that impact the communities we serve. We've tweeted live at the Turtle Derby fundraising event for our University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital. Twitter is experiencing phenomenal growth.

Sign up and become a fan on Facebook. Facebook is social networking website for sharing your thoughts, photos, videos and web favorites. It's experienced rapid growth and for some connected folks is all but replacing email among networks of friends and family. We're using Facebook to communicate about community events that we host and sponsor, as well as relevant health news items.

Sign up and follow our YouTube channel. YouTube is a video hosting, sharing and socializing website. Check out our Turtle Derby 2009 video! Fairview will share video of community events and noteworthy health news frequently in the coming months.
