Fairview Southdale Hospital Welcomes University of Minnesota Vascular Surgeon, Todd Reil, M.D., F.A.C.S., to its vascular services team

Fairview Southdale Hospital is pleased to welcome well-known vascular and endovascular surgeon Todd Reil to its medical staff. People with advanced vascular disease will benefit from Dr. Reil’s extensive experience and expertise in vascular surgery. An Associate Professor and Director of Endovascular Surgery at the University of Minnesota in the Division of Vascular Surgery, Dr. Reil’s expanded practice supports Fairview’s system-wide vascular services initiative in bringing state-of-the-art vascular care to patients across the Twin Cities metro area. Patients in the southwest metro now have quick, easy access to services provided by Dr. Reil including surgical treatment for carotid artery disease, abdominal aortic aneurysms, thoracic aortic aneurysms, and peripheral vascular disease and dialysis access.

Dr. Reil earned his medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. He completed a surgery residency and vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles Center for Health Sciences in California. Board certified in surgery and vascular surgery, Dr. Reil sees patients at Minnesota Vascular Clinic in Edina and the Vascular Surgery Clinic at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. He performs surgeries at Fairview Southdale Hospital and the University of Minnesota Medical Center.

Offering patients and their families the highest quality of care, compassion and education regarding their conditions and treatment options , Dr. Reil is skilled at providing modern, state-of-the art treatments for patients that focus on minimally-invasive procedures whenever safe and possible.

He joins a team of 10 vascular specialists at Minnesota Vascular Clinic that include vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists and a clinical lipidologist who together provide comprehensive medical and surgical management of complex vascular disease.
