-

Tired during the day even though you slept for at least seven hours the night before
-
Reduced or impaired ability to perform regular daytime activities
-
Restless at night
Conditions we treat
Treatments we offer
Commonly called polysomnograms (PSGs), sleep studies measure how quickly you fall asleep and how restful you sleep. While you sleep, our sleep technicians evaluate electrical feedback on your brain waves, eye movement, breathing patterns, oxygen levels, heart rhythms and limb movements to help determine if you have a sleep disorder. Most patients spend a night at the sleep center for evaluation. A physician referral is required for a sleep study.
What to expect
When you check in on the night of your sleep study, it will take about an hour to get you ready for the sleep study test. After that, you can relax until you go to bed—read a book, talk on the phone or watch TV. We recommend a few hours to wind down, especially if you are feeling apprehensive. While you sleep, our sleep technicians will monitor you to evaluate the quality of your sleep. Depending on the results of the nighttime evaluation, some people may be asked to stay through the following morning for additional testing.
When you stay with us, you’ll enjoy the comfort of a Sleep Number® bed in our newly remodeled rooms, designed for your comfortable. We can accommodate patients up to 400 pounds. Patients must be over 18 years old.
Sleep better right away
A physician certified in sleeping disorders reviews all sleep studies. If your sleep study reveals that you can be treated with Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), our technicians can fit you with the appropriate CPAP mask and equipment that same day. CPAP is a prescriptive medical device covered by most insurance companies.
