Conference description
Physicians and nurse specialists from Fairview Southdale Hospital Stroke and Neurosciences Programs will present nurses and allied health care providers with an annual update on advances in neurosciences, neurovascular disease, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
Intended audience
This conference is appropriate for nursing and allied health professionals who care for patients impacted by neurological conditions.

Continuing education credit
To receive a certificate of completion, all participants are required to attend the entire conference and turn in their completed evaluation packet to the course coordinator.
Nurses
This activity has been designed to meet the Minnesota Board of Nursing Continuing Education requirements. Contact hours have been applied for through the Wisconsin Nurses Association Continuing Education Approval Program Committee, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. American Nurses Credentialing Center will approve the activity for 5.2 hours. Minnesota Board of Nursing will approve this activity for 6.3 contact hours.

Type A Category CEUs pending.
Rehabilitation professionals
Contact hours have been applied for through the American Physical Therapy Association, the Minnesota Occupational Therapy Association and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association for 6.3 hours of continuing education credit.
Registration fee and cancellation policy
The course fee of $85 includes course materials, continental breakfast and lunch. A letter of confirmation and driving directions will be e-mailed once we have received your completed registration form. Cancellations on or before Oct. 16, will be returned less a $10 administrative fee. Cancellations after Oct. 16 are non-refundable. Click here to register.
