• More than 9,000 patients are admitted to the hospital through the ED each year;
• Fairview Southdale Hospital is a Primary Stroke Center, a Level Three Trauma Center; and is rated by HealthGrades as the number one hospital in Minnesota for cardiology, stroke and lung care in 2008.
