Pulmonologist and critical care medicine physician Craig Weinert, MD, MPH, earned his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington D.C. He completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina, and his critical care fellowship at University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minn.

Dr. Weinert is the Co-Medical Director of the Medical ICU, University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview, on the University Campus. He is board-certified in pulmonary diseases and has a critical care medicine certificate of added qualification (CAQ).

His clinical interests include Acute respiratory failure, pulmonary and critical care.
